3 Manifestation Practices to create your Dream Life
I’ll be covering:
What manifestation is, the three Universal Laws in the Law of Attraction, and 3 Manifestation practices that will insure that your manifestations come to life.
So if you are tired of striving and never arriving in your life, wishing you lived someone' else’s life, or just needing a change, you’re in the right place! All of that is about to change for good!
What is Manifestation?
Manifestation is a practice of directing your thoughts to invoke positive emotions that attract more positive emotions and what you want into your life. Manifestations take time and do take work, but work that flows and feels good and is aligned with your path. It includes belief, attraction and action.
My Favorite Manifestation
As long as I can remember, I was in love with France and everything French. I was sure that my destiny awaited me there. The only problem was that I was a child living in the United States, thousands of miles away with not even a single Frenchie in sight.
Despite the distance, I found ways to bring myself closer to my ultimate dream of living and falling in love in France. I took French all through grade school, high school and college. I ate French food and learned about French history and culture.
One summer in high school I wrote out in detail what the French man of my dreams would look like, act like, how we would feel about each other and even what we would like to do together. Little did I know, I was using the manifestation technique, Scripting. (If you would like to learn more about Scripting, check out the Dream Life Journal)
I remember absolutely believing that this would come to reality (The Law of Deliberate Creation!). Then I let go, I trusted and had faith in the Universe that this would come to play out and released control of the situation.
Years later, my manifestation absolutely took place. That summer writing was long out of my mind. Even though I did not forget what I wanted, I still wasn’t doing anything to force it to happen but allowing my life to play out (Law of Allowing). This person walked into my life when I wasn’t looking for him my first weekend in Paris when I was studying abroad in college. He was and is exactly what I wrote in my manifestation script as a teenager. He is my perfect match and everything I always wanted in a partner. It was only years later that I recognized the manifestation at work in my life and just how powerful manifestation can be.

Universal Laws in The Law of Attraction
There are 3 Universal Laws according to the Laws of Attraction by Abraham as written by Esther and Jerry Hicks. It is important to understand these laws for the practices below to work.
Law of Attraction
“That which is like unto itself, is drawn” In other words, you draw towards you that which you already are. Have you ever had an amazing day where you felt on top of the world and confident? You felt like all good thing kept coming towards you? And oppositely, there may have been days when you felt like nothing could go right and you were a magnet for disaster? This is is the law of attraction. You draw towards you that which you are feeling you are.
Law of Deliberate Creation
“That which I give thought to and that which I believe or expect- is”. In other words, you get what you think about. Like the Law of Attraction, with the Law of Deliberate Creation, you draw towards you what you are. What is different in deliberate creation though, is that if you think something and expect it to happen, it does. This is similar to Neville Goddard’s Law of Assumption. For example, if you believe you will do well on a test with absolute certainty, you will.
Law of Allowing
“I am that which I am, and I am willing to allow all others to be that which they are”. In other words, you allow things to unfold instead of trying to control other things and people. When you practice the Law of Allowing you have full confidence that a thing will happen or be, you hold only positive thoughts and feelings towards this but you let it happen without trying to make it happen.
Law of Attraction Practices
Abraham’s Creative Workshop Process
In the Creative Workshop Process you deliberately direct your thoughts to positive scenarios which invoke good-feeling emotions. This shift in emotion changes your own point of attraction towards those good-feeling emotions.
Feel Happy. Do an activity or think of something that puts you into a positive mental space. You should have an uplifted, lighthearted feeling, like all is well. You could listen to music, watch a show on Netflix, sitting outside in nature or cuddling your dog. Once you get yourself into that positive mindset, you can start the next step in the Creative Workshop Process.
Spend some time thinking about your day, remembering everything that you liked about your day. Whatever you can think of that pleased you and felt fun, this is what you want to spend your time on. You should prepare a picture of yourself in your mind from which you will be attracting into your experience the essence of what pleases you already.
Abraham’s Deliberate Creation Process
The Deliberate Creation Process includes directing your thoughts so that you feel positive emotions, then you expect that what you want to manifest will come to pass as you feel inspired to take actions in joy that bring you there.
Take out three pieces of paper and at the top of each write one thing that you want. Be descriptive and clear.
On the front of each piece of paper write below your title- “These are the reasons that I want this” and list below in a free flow format, all the reasons you feel that you want this.
Turn your page over and at the top write- “These are the reasons that I believe that I will have this” and list in a free flow format, all the reasons that you believe that it will come to pass.
The first side of the page in this exercise will enhance your desire for that which you want. The second side of the page in this exercise will enhance your belief that you will have it. This puts you in a state to receive that which you want to manifest in your life.
Segment Intending
Throughout our lives and even throughout our days, we want different things in different segments. We can not live our days, focused solely on one manifestation. Therefore, in Segment Intending we stop many times during the day to identify what it is that we want, where and what we need to add emphasis and power to.
When you recognize that you have shifted segments during your day (transitions in your day is a great place to look such as, going to work, going home, or starting a new task), pause for a moment and ask yourself, “what is it that I want most moving into this segment?”.
Think about that feeling that you want to feel, maybe drawing on past experiences with that emotion and describe that emotion to yourself in your head until you start to feel it.
Continue into your segment, knowing that you will now feel this intended emotion.
